Life Prints Counseling and Consulting was founded by Alisha Cooper, M.Ed., MA, LPC. Alisha earned a master’s degree in Early Intervention for Children with Special Needs , as well as, a master’s in Deaf Education from the University of Pittsburgh which started her 18 year career in the human service field. After working in home-based settings, hospitals, schools, residential treatment facilities, intensive-in home programs, and teaching in adult education programs, Alisha developed a keen ability to effectively respond to the diverse needs of children, adolescents, and adults.  The desire to assist individuals, of all ages in the task of health and well-being, led Alisha to earn a master’s degree in Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in preparation for the creation of Life Prints-a place where all are welcome to grow to their maximum potential.

Alisha is a Licensed Professional Counselor certified both by the North Carolina Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and the National Board for Certified Counselors. Alisha holds memberships in associations associated with Counseling and Education. Alisha presents at workshops and conferences in North Carolina and South Carolina on topics related to children's social and emotional development.
